By the end of today you will be able to:

  • Understand the importance of identifying and providing for your basic, everyday needs and desires

    • because oftentimes you’re dealing with not-enoughness you don’t feel your need or desire to be valued or acknowledged or beautiful

  • Communicate your needs and desires

  • Define the effects of shame on our feelings of not-enoughness

    • how with shame we go inward and basically view ourselves as not-enough

  • Be more aware of your triggers

    • usually triggers hit something inside of you that feels not-enough, shameful, angry, sends you into orbit, when someone says omg or rolls their eyes, it triggers your feeling of not being enough or respected or heard

    • to start to be aware of your triggers, what sends you from 0-10

  • Give your emotions importance and validation

    • oftentimes our emotions were put down or shamed or bottled up
