By the end of today you will be able to:
Understand the importance of identifying and providing for your basic, everyday needs and desires
because oftentimes you’re dealing with not-enoughness you don’t feel your need or desire to be valued or acknowledged or beautiful
Communicate your needs and desires
Define the effects of shame on our feelings of not-enoughness
how with shame we go inward and basically view ourselves as not-enough
Be more aware of your triggers
usually triggers hit something inside of you that feels not-enough, shameful, angry, sends you into orbit, when someone says omg or rolls their eyes, it triggers your feeling of not being enough or respected or heard
to start to be aware of your triggers, what sends you from 0-10
Give your emotions importance and validation
oftentimes our emotions were put down or shamed or bottled up
